Her first installation "Path of Light - Fields of Stars" the saw in Madrid in Engraving Stamp Fair in 2004. The work represents a labyrinth of light as representing the Camino de Santiago.
It is from this exposure, when the artist shows a greater interest in addressing the issue of light both formally and conceptually.
Dolores Galvez takes a serious commitment to her particular observation and treatment of light. Light is not just a physical or natural phenomena, not only the subject or formal development of the work. The light becomes absolutely transcendent, arose naturally and slowly unraveling was her special way of putting both conceptually, formally and technically, your true personal significance.
This same year she was selected the Independent Graphic Art Biennial of St. Petersburg and also held her first exhibition in La Coruna, with Atlantic Art Center Gallery.

In that same year a solo exhibition in the Sala Rivas Villagarcia Briones and another at the headquarters of Caixanova in Vigo, where a twist is evident, the work is summarized and acquires a greater presence. It is at this point that it becomes more radical; color and light have a stranglehold on the work.
The year 2008 set forth in the Atlantic Gallery in La Coruna and BCA28 gallery, also in La Coruna Dolores Galvez continued her inquiries into the light and made an intervention project of public art for the city of La Coruña. She subsequently had a new project on the occasion of New Year Holy Jacobean, some interventions light on iconic buildings and places of Galicia.

In the years 2010 and 2011, she made several proposed interveciones on public spaces and buildings in Stockholm and a new exhibition at the Xunta de Galicia in Pontevedra in 2012, inspired precisely in Sweden and nature.
In 2014, she was selected to participate in "Dialogues na Beira do rio" in the Palace of Culture of the Municipality of Pontevedra, which showed a significant amount of new work expressly for this space. Artist Statement
My work is focused on a vision of man as essentially fragile and vulnerable, unable to control not only the environment but also its nature. The work is achieved by the use of resources such as engraving, painting, photography and public space interventions.
Formally, through atmospheric fields is to evoke strength and energies present or intuited, able to direct and control everything, where different beings and figures are drawn with little resilience. There is a desire to show a sense of fragmentation, where nothing is built solidly, but everything is a continuous flow, a constant transformation. It seeks to blur the boundaries between real and unreal landscapes, the natural world and the supernatural world, embrace the possible and the impossible, order and chaos, light and dark, the rational and the irrational.
The play is set, not the representation of what is seen, but, in cracks produced by acts of creation: the transformation, modulation, displacement, intervals, taking as its own all the mental world around him.
The work focuses on the analysis and experimentation, both technical and procedural as connecting with contemporary aesthetics, based on the exploitation of technical resources aimed at exploring languages, working on the idea of open process.
The project is a combination of rational aspects on means and ends, and irrational, experiences and feelings. Fantasy and imagination are important components of creativity and can serve as safety valves to the real world. This monstrous reality itself, made of fragments, it appears to allow certain partial sublimation, some cracks where to find the enjoyment of luxury, so sensuously fascinating with great ability to open resonances in our memory.
