About Christine Schnöll

Christine Schnöll was born in Schladming (Alps, Austria) the 7th of September 1965.

She grew up very independently, in a large family with six children and began to paint, as soon as she could hold a pen or a brush in her hand.

She quickly created her own imagery and lived her revolution against the mainstream, always had her critical and vigilant thoughts and reflection with her environment which was placed in her artworks. She soon left the parental home and the narrow valley in the Alps.

At the age of 16 her images was used for the book of a psychological test-program of Dr. Revers/Widauer (TAT-Itemanalyse, Gestaltungstest).

Christine attended a private art school in Vienna and at the same time worked at a designers studio and for advertising agencies and worked on her own art permanently. She went to California, Switzerland and found her home in Salzburg, had many exhibitions and workshops and has support from galleries and artlovers, worked as illustrator for kids-books and doing workshops for kids and adult to open creativity.

As a mother of two very creative artistically children she lives and works now on the edge of the inspiring city of Salzburg and is still dreaming to work in the future in her house on the beach in Greece.

I'm on an endless inner journey through intuition, inspiration and an everlasting desire, to express my inner world. painting is an ongoing process, an adventure to immerse an addiction again and again…'
