In SAINT IGGY we see the muscular upper body of a man in a classic pose, dressed in a kind of cape. Whereas the exposed upper body showing muscles and skin are painted in great detail, almost in 3D, the clothing is two-dimensional, looking almost like a collage. Most likely it is computer generated, and the contrast with the classical – even god-like – depiction of the torso is strong. Although we can only see half of the face, we know that it is Iggy Pop.
