About Lesley Taylor

Lesley Taylor, who signs her work pin100 (don't ask her why, she won't tell you) hopes that her sense of humour connects with you and that you enjoy her whimsical and some say 'downright odd' outlook on life as shown in her work. She says... As an actor I've always been interested in the emotions that can be shown without the use of words. My paintings tend to reflect this life long study. As said by Sir Howard Hodgkin: Turner winner “Being well-known or having lots of exhibitions has nothing to do with being an artist - those things are just chance." That being said ... I admit to being reluctant to travel these days, I show my work in regional galleries, local to my home in Macksville on the North Coast of NSW. I am glad to take my work to various online galleries.
