Sculpture: Wood, paint, Timber on Wood.

This sculpture is one of two, the first being stolen from a gallery show that is in this upside down configuration of a hanging figure tied at the ankles and wrists. It so well illustrates the helplessness of our circumstances at times and certainly oppressed people wherever they may be.
The piece is executed out of four, 6 x 6 x 41" cedar columns glued together and cut with a chainsaw; a manner in which I was working at the time. After the piece was shaped it was covered with a tar-like paint to enhance and bring out the details of the figure.
