About | Francesca Candito

was born in Roma in 1975 and lived in Sondrio where she attended Art H.S. and got her Diploma. At the age of 18 she moves to Milan to attend the Architecture faculty at Politecnico di Milano. She graduates with honors in Architecture. She specializes in Social Housing projects collaborating with significant professional firms. At first beginning as an employee, afterwards through Bradet Co.Ltd. that she founds in 2010. http://www.francescacandito.com/ In recent years of study and work, she participates in various group exhibitions. Art quickly takes more room until 2013 when she decides to dedicate herself exclusively to visual arts. In the same year she enrolls at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. In 2014 she gets spotted and highlighted as one of the best artists in the Italy selection by Rebecca Willson (head curator and art director art advisory art Saatchi Art). In the same year she is selected in a number of domestic art tender notices. The attendance of Accademia di Brera gets undoubtedly important to her artistic growth. "Her work investigates almost touchy subjects as such as bodies and faces, depicted with sharp outlines. This way to paint is actually aiming to the core,to the essentials, where the matter becomes foggy, allowing more room to those details that draw faces with deep penetrating yet lost gazes. The artist travels deep inside mind paths ,overcoming all those stigmatized blocks within a research that tends to sympathy and compassion for the human. This happens with some effort to get and capture that lost individuality also involving the use of some headlines, as if they were written thoughts, filling up the blank or empty spaces sorrounding those shapes and figures with small paer tiles-figures behaving and living just like thousands of eyes lurking alla round." Citation: History of art critic: Barbara Vincenzi In 2015 she carries on a research on the topic of "Mental Health" that shows in a solo exhibit downtown Ferrara ( Italy) in a 1400's.building. The board for social of the city of Milan who asks her to take the exhibition to the city of Milan. In October - in the same year - she will exhibit at the Casa dei Diritti of Milan.
