" We proudly present to you a new series of works by Lisa van Noorden. Her works examine the sensitivity and the power of a kiss shared between strangers. To engage in an intimate connection through a kiss is one of the most powerful gestures we can make. e kiss unites us as creatures. Lisa’s models are random. She photo- graphs people that catch her eye, usually on the street or in shops. Back in her studio she recreates her models in drawings and 3D models. She creates new men, women, all that lies between and even the animal within us and engages them in gesture of a ection. She brings people together who had never met in reality. Her powerful artworks celebrate universal love, understanding and equality. "

About | Lisa van Noorden
I'm an artist living and working in Rotterdam. I make drawings, paintings and 3d works, and I also create artworks in private and public space. My drawing focusses mostly on people and animals and their ways of survival and self-protection in our complicated insane environment. I also like to work with symbols which have proven to be strong and lasting to our society, like diamonds, stars, skulls etc. I work very accurate and precise. Would love to hear your feedback on my work.
